This house has a rain ambient feture e.g. raindrops on the windows (inside) or water running down the house.
so let it rain when you are in the mood!
For a cozy atmosphere i made the interior a bit darker so relax!
This feature is based on "weather based YMAP". so choose RAIN or THUNDER with Menyoo, just go to the pause menu of GTA and back into the game.
now you should see a difference.

INSTALL:
1. Run OpenIV
2. Drag and drop the folder "modern_wood_house_1a" in the following path "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks"
3. Go to "mods\update\update.rpf\common\data" open "dlclist.xml" and add the line "dlcpacks:/modern_wood_house_1a/"
4. Drag and drop all files from "ReplaceFiles" folder in the following path "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpapartment\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\_hills\cityhills_02\cityhills_02_metadata"

i fixed it thanks for the help and the positive vibes. Nothing was ignored other than the fact that i had spmapfixes and i had to change the files there too. Ass.

For some reason, when i install this, some textures like the road textures and mountains around the house and in vinewood hills in general, start to blur completely. Texture loss isn´t a problem i had before in GTA V, so idk why this happens.

@meimeiriver Do you have access to my computer so you know if i installed it not properly or properly? i did everything right, checked multiple youtube videos, everything was right. simply you are just dumb, the mod doesnt work, or it doesnt work for me atleast, you shall not tell me i installed it not properly if you dont know what i did.

@Zed1 Bro, if we got a penny for every time someone says "I did everything right", and then winds up with a non-working mod after all, we'd be filthy rich. :)
This mod not only works, but it's one of the finest out there! To paraphrasee a known saying "It's not me, it's YOU." So, please stop embarrassing yourself. And yes, I'm telling you you fubarred your install -- as per usual, in these cases.

@meimeiriver I hardly doubt i did something wrong, i enabled MP maps, disabled MP maps, re-installed two times, checked files again. If you think it works like it should or its my fault, go ahead and give me detailed instructions on downloading :)

@Zed1 There are a great many factors that contribute to whether a mod will load or not. A good gameconfig is one, plus several tools to increase the game's resource caps. Visting our #modding-support channel on Discord is a good place to look. We have many videos and links to the most commonly used modding tools/support files there.

@hazedaf It just so happens I released my support script for this mod (shameless self-plug), at https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/modern-wood-house-script
It fixes (among other things) the gate still appearing. The issue, btw, was caused by Map Fixes.

I would like to clarify that the heart of this house is the night + rain ambience.
it should not be a huge villa but a "normal" house for 2 people. so do not expect too much!
Check it out at night because only then it unfolds all its atmosphere.
I would also like to recommend this mod, which serves as a nice addition to the house.
