Hey! In order to get my realistic HUD mod you have to replace the files found in the files folder in:
update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_generic.rpf\
Dont forget to make a backup!!!

Why do I need to change the player_one file to use the modded HUD though, how are those two things related?

In the directory mentioned from the readme I have
carrec.rpf
moviesubs.rpf
scaleform_frontend.rpf
scaleform_generic_2.rpf
scaleform_platform_pc.rpf
scaleform_platform_ps4.rpf
scaleform_platform_xboxone.rpf
But no scaleform_generic.rpf
