Just edited the time it takes for police to spawn. Now you can start a shoot with the many gangs in San Andreas without having to worry about police spawning so quickly. It's also much more immersive because in real life the average police response time in America is 10 minutes not 10 seconds.

I am going to test it but keep in mind that the in game time of 1 minute is 1 second in real life. So 10 minutes in real life is 10 hours in the GTA's world time. The in game distances are also about 1/10 of the real ones. So there is a kind of an analogy between the time that you would need to cover a distance in real life compared to the time that you need to cover the corresponsive distance in GTA world.
what value did you change in dispatch.meta? Good mod
@GensokyoIsReal use WinMerge software to compare the files (vanilla - mod file)
Does it only change values right? I can keep the vanilla enemy spawn sets? Like police3, fbi2, etc?
If so then this is a good mod, and i'd want more mods that only tweak some values in dispatch.meta and dont overhaul everything lol
@Ilikeeditingpolice01 Yeah all I changed was the time it takes for police to come in, everything else was left alone. I had no intention of making it too complex, to me the games vanilla spawn sets were fine. I see no reason for the national guard to come in like a lot of other mods will have. Also I don't know how to do all that anyway, I just started playing around with buttons. lol
@GensokyoIsReal There were two sections I saw as soon as clicking dispatch.meta called <LawSpawnDelayMin> and <LawSpawnDelayMax>
They had values so all I did was raise them.
@Sprunk Extreme Yeah, vanilla is fine for me anyway
what sound mod and recoil mod are u using?
@Sn00ras At the time I uploaded that I was using Ripplers Realism 3.1 and the sound came with it but I don't know if you can find it anymore, I don't even use it anymore. I moved onto Realistic Weapon Play just because it's newer and I know the creator will make updates moving forward. I'd re-upload and tell people to use it as a base for editing realistic gunplay if GTA5 Mods didn't get so butt hurt about uploading other peoples work.
Thank you man your doing gods work this is a must have mod for me
I have the same file installed by WOV (world of variety), how do iknow what are all lines to merge to keep this mod fonctionnal, ? THe mod and WOV file applied to my game, for merge purpose, if ever... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uinKz_S7dXm9kEp0i0z0tC-EcpwoEF5r/view?usp=sharing
That's what's needed to be merged to WOV's file and all the mod functionnality will be working ? :
<SLOW value="60.0"/>
<MEDIUM value="50.0"/>
<FAST value="50.0"/>
</LawSpawnDelayMin>
<LawSpawnDelayMax>
<SLOW value="70.0"/>
<MEDIUM value="60.0"/>
<FAST value="60.0"/>
this compat with Pull Me Over?
@Klemc Sorry for the late responses. Super late actually, I'm sure you already figured it out but for those that didn't I don't see why it shouldn't work. Haven't tried it myself. Last time I used World of Variety I just replaced the dispatch.meta that came with WoV with mine and the game looked like it ran fine with it. Only problem was I'm pretty sure WoV had more police spawns especially on the freeway which is near some of the areas I like to get into shoot out with gangs, so the police response was quicker. In the future I'm gonna play around with dispatch.meta some more and see if I can slow down the time it takes for back up officers to show up.
@TwoBucks Haven't tried it but please tell me how it went.
I'll use the mod in my new modset if you update it, sure.
Good work fella!
Must have mod for Realism!
Good work, but in-game time is not the same as real time
