DrAwesome and I teamed up to present to you all some quality skydome graphics with the use of SpaceEngine!

What is SpaceEngine? It's an incredible & free "space simulation program that lets you explore the universe in three dimensions, from planet Earth to the most distant galaxies. Areas of the known universe are represented using actual astronomical data, while regions uncharted by astronomy are generated procedurally. Millions of galaxies, trillions of stars, countless planets - all available for exploration. You can land any planet, moon or asteroid and watch alien landscapes and celestial phenomena. You can even pilot starships and atmospheric shuttles."
These new textures did not need to be much more than 1k resolution, in fact game stability is compromised at 4k & up. These textures are so distant that increasing the resolution makes no sense as there would be no benefit visually, however it could impact performance.

Install using OpenIV!
1) Using OpenIV in Edit Mode, drag and drop the skydome.ytd file to this location: update\update.rpf\x64\textures (Thank you SAEVARM3 !)

If anyone here is having problems getting this to work = update\update.rpf\x64\textures
putting the skydome.ytd file there worked for me, not in x64a.rpf like it says in the description.

however... LOVE IT!!!
awesome mod, works. but i think it messes up with the vangelico recon mission, the manager doesn't show up in the store, and the security guard is frozen. it might not be because of this, although it's the only mod i installed in the original folder. anyway, does anyone have the original skydome.ytd file? i though i did a backup but i didn't sadly.
@goa38 yup i can supply them. But remember always use the mods folder for usong mods as i asked for player_one.yft and ymt no one gave me only MTH gave me after i re installed gta v for only two files then i realized i may use "mods" folder .

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? It's not working for me. There are no stars and such in the sky after I do this;

Well I tried re-doing Visual V and got rid of the Earth's atmosphere add-on and I still can't see stars from the ground. I have to fly way up in the sky before I see any stars or anything. Is this normal or is something wrong?
