Description:
I've always liked the GTA IV pedestrian textures and styles! The Harlem pedestrian was one of my favorite characters to play as when I would mod the online. So, after a couple years I have finally converted the full model from GTA IV! He has facial animations and even blood effects to! Once I was done editing, I decided to add his voice, because he just wasn't the same without it. So, he now has a full voice that I converted from GTA IV, and it sounds more updated and smoother for the world of GTA 5!
This model conversion is the first of many, as it is a huge step forward in the modding I have already been able to do thus far! I plan to completely overhaul the GTA 5 wanted system with new models from GTA IV! Now with these facial animations the heads will be included in future uploads!
I hope you all like this ped, I am really glad that I could actually convert him after all these years! I can't believe it's been since 2018 when this mod was released! We have come so far since then and our supporters from this community and our discord community have helped us stay motivated to make more awesome mods like this! Let me know what you all think in the comments section and tell me some of your all's favorite peds from GTA IV that I could try to convert! I am already planning on converting the law enforcement peds, so any models besides them, leave some suggestions!
Feel free to use the assets from this model to give clothes to mp characters or story peds if you like! Any model related thing I upload on this site you can use for your own creations! or you can also install it as a replace by renaming the ped to what you want!
Ex: changing the name "ig_harlem" to "ig_barry" and replacing that model.
If you want the optional voice, then replace the voice file in this location of your mods folder:
mods - x64 - audio - sfx - S_MISC.rpf
I included a peds.ymt edit text reference if you want to see how I setup this model and made him play in game!

I've updated the head model completely and he is a lot more expressive and better for the world of GTA V!
I added his TMT logo to his hat as an option for texture two!
I fixed some of the vertice issues surrounding his outfits as they are much better than before!
He still has his voice that can be installed via a replace if you want it! It's still up to date and thus works well in the world of GTA V with proper yclip editing!

(If you do not have this trainer, then just type the name in the designated area of your current trainer):
ig_harlem
If you use simple trainer you can add the model name to the ini file of trainer v and you then won't have to input the name every time ingame!
Just list it under the addonpeds section!
If you decide to use MapBuilder/map editor for creating scenes with him, then be sure to add the name to the top of the "ped list" in order to spawn him for your creations!
Just be sure to credit me if you make videos with him and don't forget to add the video to this mod page for people to watch!

Sometimes the outfits for him may move odd during certain animations or vertices may protrude from the body (low cover is an example). I am getting better at editing these issues, but models like this one with the baggy clothes tend to be a lot more challenging. So be aware that it may not be perfect, but at least we have him in GTA V!

You might be able to help me with one thing? I'm working on revoicing the Armenian Mob and I want to replace one ped with other - you see there's one ped that is broken and I want to switch him with another NPC instead (F:E - g_m_m_x_01 to a_m_y_x_01), you have any idea where in OpenIV I can find the editable file where I can replace it?
@vasimontana I'm not entirely sure what you mean by replace the broken ped, I do know you can edit the peds.ymt to make certain voice lines play for certain characters based on their skin color. Other than that, I did find a new way to bunch voices under one name .awc file (i.e. baygor.awc under the misc audio .rpf). It's what I am doing with the Italian mafia currently. To do this, your gonna need the codewalker's rpf explorer. That lets you view the rpf in openIV in a detailed and easy to edit format. It also comes with ped viewer which allows you to view the animations from the game. With the rpf explorer, you can edit the game.dat151.rel. Which has all the voice archives and voicelines based on mini or full listed for every character. I haven't quite learned how to make my own voice lines yet, but the most I have learned is to add the voices I want under a specific name. For example, the baygor character's voice from GTA 5. I deleted his voice listed under full and added my own from whatever existing ones are in the x64 audio folder rpfs. Where he is white, I only used white voicelines. However, I think if you list some color based ones under name then it might pull those if you character is of color. I may make a short video showing how to do this, but it won't be out for a bit. Or at least not till I get a moment to make it. I have been very busy unfortunately lately and has resulted in my Italians taking so long to be uploaded still lol. I hope all this makes since but let me know if you need something better explained. I might be able to help you better on discord, just let me know.
@WolfFire23309 I'll give it a good try. I managed to figure out a way to edit a ped under a different model and subsequently replace his voice files, but I stumbled upon trying to add a certain NPC into a gang, it's like no matter how many times I try he just doesn't show up in the game.. more of a scenario problem on my side (the ped I was trying to replace btw is armgoon_01 as he doesn't have any voice lines in game and he has reused lines from other peds ingame black hispanic white etc, tried to solve it by just replacing his model with another)

@vasimontana To fix this, it's actually really easy to do. I think armgoon01 is a white character. You can go under the pedvoicegroup in the peds.ymt and change his to the armgoon02 voice and that would fix it. It's just one of Rockstars mistakes. You can also use a tool that I use from this site that is so handy for sixing and adding my own variations of clothes and voices based on the head textures.

Wish Rockstar would post an updated version of him in a future update by adding him to cutscenes and stuff. Would be cool to see how he's changed in appearance over the years since 2008!

@William Halverd Yeah I'm still working on them currently, just wanted to update some things in the meantime cause our page was full of outdated stuff lol. Some of the cops from IV I converted already are looking really cool in this game. I just gotta finish setting some things up/getting the wanted system to work correctly, and then I will upload them! Our game has been crashing a lot since the last two updates Rockstar put out and it's been hard to really test things like I need to.
