Backup Mod lets you call in gang backup that actually drives to your location and fights by your side.
Press B to open the menu, pick a gang, and choose whether you want them in a random vehicle or a helicopter. They spawn on a real road a couple blocks away, drive to you, and start shooting at anyone who's a threat. The menu stays open so you can spam call as much as you want.
Four crews to pick from:
Each gang has:
The backup spawns far away on an actual road, drives to your position, and parks nearby. If there's trouble around, they engage. If it's quiet, they follow you around and guard the area. Helicopters spawn already in the air and fly over shooting.
Requirements:
Install
Drop BackupMod.dll into your scripts folder. Launch the game. The mod auto-creates a BackupMod.ini config file on first launch.
Controls
Configurable in-game and in the INI file:
Dead backup stays on the ground but their blips get removed. Survivors keep fighting. Use Disband All Backup to clean everything up.

The Lost MC — they roll up on motorcycles (Daemon, Hexer, Zombie Bobler)
Merryweather — military contractors in Insurgents, APCs, and attack choppers
Each gang has:
- Random vehicle or helicopter option
- Their own vehicle colors and map blips
- Gang-specific weapons (passengers shoot from the car)
- Configurable passenger count and spawn chances

- Blip toggle
- Per-gang vehicle lists, helicopter lists, weapons, passenger counts, armored/APC spawn chances, and blip colors

@vlaati – This is an amazing mod. Would you please make the backup hotkey call backup directly without opening the backup menu? The hotkey could be configurable in the .ini file. Also, could you make the backup spawn farther away from the player to make it feel more realistic, instead of appearing like a magic trick?

@FranklinTheGoon you can customize To spawn them far away Realistic you can fix that in menu in game, You have an option to spawn them ''Near'' ''Medium'' or ''Far'' default is medium, as for the backup hotkey, You can change it in ini, but its not possible to make it so it doesnt open menu because there is a ton of other options we need the menu for
