InfectionX is a lightweight yet powerful survival script that transforms Los Santos into a brutal, gore-filled nightmare. Unlike generic zombie mods, InfectionX focuses on aggressive AI, a terrifying visual atmosphere, and a punishing biological infection system that demands constant vigilance.
This "Blood Edition" features randomized wound textures and a highly optimized AI engine designed to work seamlessly with other high-end survival mods.

Apex Predator AI: Encounter massive hordes of up to 70 zombies that encircle the player in a 360° radius. These entities are programmed with an "Anti-Stall" logic pulse, ensuring they hunt you relentlessly without hesitation.
NEW: Blood Edition Visuals: Experience true horror with our randomized damage system. Every zombie spawns with high-fidelity, unique bloody wound textures, ensuring a diverse and gruesome look for the undead population.
Punishing Viral System: Manage your biological stability or face the consequences:
Phase 1 (5% Load): Initial infection begins—minor visual disturbances and screen flickering.
Phase 2 (50% Load): Viral toxicity hits the brain—severe hallucinations and altered perception.
Phase 3 (75%+ Load): Motor control failure—health depletion, stumbling, and physical collapse.
Final Phase (100% Load): Complete biological shutdown—Death.
Persistent Medical Loot: Antidotes drop from killed zombies or can be found at hospital locations (e.g., Pillbox Hill). These items are marked as mission entities, meaning they stay in the world and won't despawn when you turn your back.

We all put so much passion into our projects to push the limits of what's possible. However, we have to be realistic: the GTA V engine is quite outdated, and we are all constantly working within heavy technical constraints to keep things stable.

A 24/7 Apocalypse Mode is definitely planned for a future update. I'm working on making the mod as customizable as possible to give you the best experience. Stay tuned!

Looking forward to the customizing options, would be great to see the Zombies attack other peds, I used it with LSPDFR and they just target the player, which was kind of a bummer.

Regarding the zombies attacking other peds: I have great news! I am currently finishing a companion mod called 'The Remnants'. It introduces a Dynamic Faction System (Survivors, Raiders, and Military) that fully interacts with InfectionX. With both mods combined, you will see massive three-way battles between humans, the law/military, and the undead.
Customization options and a 24/7 apocalypse mode are also high on my priority list for the next updates. Stay tuned, more chaos is coming soon!
Will there also be an enhanced version, and could the zombies be made a bit bloodier?
It doesn't work, not a single zombie spawns for me.

Regarding the spawning: Please make sure you have the latest ScriptHookVDotNet installed. Also, in version 4.0.2, zombies only spawn at night (after 21:00). However, stay tuned for Version 4.1 – I am adding a '24/7 Apocalypse' setting in the INI so you can have zombies all day long!
Regarding the blood: Great idea! I will look into adding more 'Damage Packs' to the zombie models in the next update to make them look more decayed and bloodier.
