!!!!Update= This issue seems to appear only when using amd cpu with an amd discrete gpu.
pc parts used in pictures= 5800x and rx 6800
V0.8=
-Extreme= lodlight range is reduced, this means more fps but more noticeable lack of lodlight.Very good if you want to achieve 80-90fps everywhere.
- Balanced= lodlight range is increased, this means less fps than extreme, but less noticeable lack of lodlights. Very good if you want to achieve 60fps everywhere.
Maybe this will also works on intel cpus, i dont know
This script will fix an issue with amd ryzen 1th/2nd gen processors. I dont know if everyone who use this processor have this issue, but if you have this issue heres a fix.
if you have a decent gaming pc and never experienced this issue, this may not change anything.
this issue decrease fps to 50-60 when looking city/or sandy shores at night, this happen with some ryzen processors.
So this script fix this issue, then you have 75-100fps rather than 50-60 fps(pictures), and this just disable/enable some far lights(lodlights) with a good enough timming, so this script allow more performance with few visual changes.
Requirements:
-ScripthookV.
-This works on a legit Gta V copy.
Install:
-Choose between balanced or extreme(see pictures).
then
drop "Ryzenlightsfix.asi" in your "Grand Theft Auto V" main folder.
Thats all.
V0.1: initial release
V0.2: fixed issue
V0.3: added feature that disable some far lod lights.
V0.4: removed feature of V0.3(unstable), added cayo perico map lod lights(if cayo perico map is enabled)
V0.5: fixed an issue (issue:script disable itself when change character).
V0.6: new script
V0.7: extreme script
V0.8: add balanced option

@Iodine131 ok tried 5700g igp, and there is no issue here, i had to use 720p(with most high/veryhigh settings) bc igp is less powerfull, about 80-95fps. I think this issue appears when you use amd cpu with amd discrete gpu, even in 2021 i was using an rx480 with ryzen 1700x(and then an rx 570) and this issue was here then i tried with i7 8700 with same gpus and no issue. I have a 12100f but no mb so will likely confirm this soon.I dont think its really an amd issue because never saw an issue like this in other games i played, maybe driver issue but more likely a game issue. Will see if there is other ingame ways to bypass this issue.
@thebegin10 can work GT card ?
will this work with nvidia gpu?
@ep632000 @Nguyen Quang Hi, do you have this issue using an nvidia card? this mod fix a very specific issue, that most likely takes place when using amd cpu with amd gpu, this is not really something to get more fps in general.
It's good to use, but don't know why it supports offline, it doesn't work when you use it online, so please update it online, PLS PLS
Can you update support online mode, or remove all lights?Pls pls
@-Night Hi, unfortunately this is not doable online(no legit way), i tried playing online yesterday and the only way is to reduce water quality to "normal", with a 5800x this reduce a lot night fps drop(i got 90 fps with 29players at night in sandy shores, like in picture) and ,of course, this reduce also water quality, for me,in online its okay.but in singleplayer i want a good looking water. Back in day i was using a 1700x and fps was much lower (sometimes drops below 60 even at day with a lot of player), so with 1700x night issue wasnt the only issue online (it was the main issue in singleplayer). If this script, by some way, works online this will mainly give you a good fps increase at night in sandy shores(north), but near/inside city, fps gap is much smaller. even with my 5800x i get 80fps in city at day(with 29 players), and about 70 at night(water normal). in north its more like 90-100fps. Can you give me your specs?.
@thebegin10 My computer configuration is: RTX6600 CPU: 5600 RAM DDR4 4000MHZ, light 104fps, and the rest of the place is locked at 150ps
@thebegin10 Can you find the light file via openiv and delete it, if it doesn't work I'll have to replace the cpu
@thebegin10 I just want to reach 150fps anywhere in online private battles (2 players), but when the lights come on at night, it becomes 100-105fps, I don't care about the lighting screen, I only care about the fps, if you have a way to remove the lights, please let me know, please
@-Night ok i see, in this case i think the only way is indeed to turn off lights, i didnt find a legit way to do it,The more "legit" way i found is to delete lodlights files, but your game may not launch since it requires open4. Before replace cpu, check if someone can already do 150 fps at night, and do the same build but this may requires a lot of money. i will check now in solo session using 5800x 4.8ghz/rx 6800, to see if i even manage to get close to this with extra low settings, if not i think the only way will be to get am5/lga 1700 stuff, so huge money investment.
@thebegin10 I feel very strange, when the lights are on, I use the software to check the cup, and the GPU's occupancy is the same as during the day, he doesn't increase or decrease because the lights are on, and I'm thinking about replacing the CPU or the GPU now
@thebegin10 Can you tell me the file directory of the light (openiv's game directory), I tried to delete it via openiv, I have files that bypass online detection, I don't know if it works, thanks
@-Night just tried with 5800x, same as you at night, 130-150 at day(130 sometimes lowest in city), i know that changing gpu to nvidia gpu will remove this night issue, but in your case this is another level because lights will take some fps in every pc builds. i think, even with an nvidia card there is a fps hit at night, i think this is just how the game is made, the game doesnt use all cpu cores, and maybe lights use only one(idk to be honest), i mean for counter strike 150 fps is low but for a game like gta its very high. i am trying with a 3060 now/with 5800x so you know.
@-Night Since you use stuff that bypass online detection, i cant help you more sorry because its not legit.
@-Night getting more fps with a nasa pc its okay(this how this works), but by editing game files online, its not okay. at this point just delete all map, you can get 180 fps everywhere.
@thebegin10 Well, thank you so much for talking to me about it, I didn't know, it's not legal, I now know that I'll delete the bypass online detection file to correct my behavior
@-Night i am about to try with rtx 3060, will tell you if its better or same as rx 6800. so you will know if its enough to change to an nvidia gpu. if not i think you may need a new motherboard/cpu(maybe also not enough to get 150), i dont think its worth it, if you play a 1v1 just try to face the north when fighting, if really 150fps makes a change for you(compare to 100), change your position in your favor.
But i mean gta online is full of cheaters on pc, so you may be always against a cheater(that use small not very noticeable advantage), just buy a ps5/xbox for more legit online, in pc there is nothing to compete about. So change a full pc for this...
@-Night ok i tried with a 3060 12gb and 5800x, and i got 140-150fps at night in city, 150fps north, lowest settings, there is no light fps drop issue, and with rx 6800 i got 120 at night same settings /location and 130-150 at day, with rtx 3060 12gb i got 140-150 at day everywhere same as night so it seems night doesnt have much effect on low settings for rtx card.
@-Night so in your case changing gpu may worth it, and i think rtx 3060 12gb is a good choice compared to a rx 6600.
@-Night i tried more, and its more like 130 lowest at night for rtx 3060 so:
rx 6800 = 120fps lowest at night, 130fps lowest at day
rtx 3060 12gb= 130fps lowest at night, 140fps lowest at day
finally its about the same at lowest settings at 1080p.
