If you're experiencing an issue where the audio is not playing but the lip sync animation works, try changing the output device in your Windows settings. Sometimes, audio playback issues can be resolved by selecting a different audio output device.
@Daddynnoob thank you
@fihan79256 thank you 🙂
@GogetaSsj4 what about freemode female character?will it work.freemod mp female talk less....
@GogetaSsj4 Could you please tell me how to check/set the default output device? I only have the Realtek Digital Output and the TV Audio (listed as Nvidia HD Audio). I use the Realktek digital (the sound of the speakers I have for my PC) and it's listed first, but idk if it is the default one.
Thank you! Hopefully you consider adding more triggers such as when stuck in traffic (tie with horn), combat barks outside of shooting/melee combat when Player is close to combative NPC at a frequency set between 2 time integers, pinned down/suppressed state. Some sort of speech wheel for the Player to select voice lines on demand would be great. Perhaps you’ll consider actually using the game’s own system for voice lines and have your script trigger the various groups of voice lines set for models in the game.
@GogetaSsj4 Hi again. I already set my Realtek Audio as the default one in Windows Control Panel, but the voices still won't work. :/
@CJislit Strange mod works on all of my systems. do you have the latest scripthookvdotnet nightly
@GogetaSsj4 Nope, I don't, but I figured out the issue: I didn't change the "player_tommy" from every line in the ini file. I did it and now everything works.
Thanks for the mod! It is great. I'll stay tuned for when you add more situations for the peds to use the voices. =D
Also, a heads up for anyone that needs it: if you use the Character Swap (or similar) mod to change the hashes of a ped model to use it as one of the main 3 characters, you need to make folders/ino changes in this mod for player zero/one/two and not the ped model you will use. once you swap the hash of the model to one of the 3 protagonists, the voices of this mod used will be the ones of the folder of the protagonist you're using.
@CJislit is this also for frank or michael or any character i want?
@Mauluskus It is for any character (ped) you want, you just need to make the folders and the correct changes in the ini file using the ped model name as it exist in the game files.
If you use the Character Swap mod, the voices used will be the ones asigned to the model you're using the hash of.
@CJislit Haha. And i was trying to look for the issues xD. I am glad it worked :D
Mod idea! In the base game, if a vehicle or a plane explodes, all the passengers die instantly. It would be kind of cool if, like in real life, you could shoot down a plane and there was a chance that some of the passengers might survive. :D
Suggestion for how this could work:
- When the plane or helicopter explodes or catches fire and starts to crash, the passengers are temporarily made invincible, and forced to stay in the vehicle so they can't jump out.
- When the vehicle hits the ground, the invincibility is removed, and a random amount of damage is applied to each seat - so, for example, Passenger A might take lose 300 health, which is fatal; Passenger B might lose 150 health, which leaves him very badly injured, but still barely alive; and Passenger C might take 25 damage, which is minimal, and he's mostly fine. But it's randomised, so in theory all of them could die, or none of them - each crash is different.
- Once the vehicle crash-lands and comes to a stop, survivors able to climb out and continue as normal peds.
I think it could create cool scenarios, where you shoot down a chopper or a plane, and it crashes in the distance, and when you go over to it, there are a couple of survivors still ready to fight you. :D
Bonus but less important features:
- Blood decals for survivors, all bloodied and bashed
- One of the in-game limp animations
(They're not that important, just might add a bit of immersion)
@CoronaPrime I tried to do this but for someone reason godmode is not being activated at the right time. I will try to implement some other logic
If the problem is that they die when the vehicle is destroyed, idk if this is any help to you, but this mod causes planes to go down dramatically when they lose health - might be of some use?: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/realistic-plane-crash-secretic
Hi
Thank you for your great mod but It doesn't work

@GogetaSsj4 Hey, there. Are you still planning to update this mod with more voice triggers? =D
@CJislit I want to but not getting enough time for that at the moment.
