The recoil settings were fun to use for a few moments but ultimately serve to hamper the aiming ability by shaking the screen to the point of nausea. If that's considered part of the realism factor, I'll have to go back to fantasy land I suppose.

Based on the comments this mod seems to be hit-or-miss in terms of working. I've tried several times, following the instructions to the letter, and it does not work.
