So, I *kinda* got this to "work" (?) on the Epic games store version of the game, but I'm hoping to get some of help from you guys.
So the game is able to launch without the rockstar launcher without any major problems, no matter which version I download of the mod (including the social club only edition)
There are 2 caveats though, one is when the game starts loading, it will ask you to log in to you social club account, sometimes it will log in no problem, other times, no matter what you do, the game seems to not detect that you completed the captcha and you will never be able to log in.
Thankfully there is a workaround, download the rockstar games launcher, and log in to you social club account, but before doing so, click the auto log in checkbox.
Then launch the game via the no launcher and you will automatically log in to you account.
Now to the second caveat and the most important, the game will ask you to "activate" GTA V with a serial key, as if you didn't have the game.
I guess that is the reason of the "social club only" exclusivity, if you purchased the game via social club, it would directly register on your account, with the epic games version, it technically appears on the rockstar games launcher, but when you click open, it asks you to launch it directly from the epic games launcher.
So is this a dead end? there is no way to make this fully work with any version aside the social club version?
