@WesternGamer It looks like it's so difficult to mod "Enhanced", it's better to just stay in "Legacy" with modding...

When you want to see what an NPC sees, press the toggle button (default: J). The "sightjacking" will be determined by who is the closest to the player's position (including drivers in vehicles). While "sightjacking" is active, the player can move, but turning via mouse movement won't take effect until toggle button is pressed again. The NPC's view can't be controlled (obviously).

@2girls1comp I downgraded back to 1.0.2845.0 and added the "-scofflineonly" launch parameter to bypass the "update required" launcher message, this mod works. ☺
Please add the ability to be able to continue turning my character via mouse movement while "sightjacking".

@Bizz91 Yes, it's for Legacy and I'm using it to skip the "police sirens intro".
@Pizzahut It looks like that method doesn't work in Enhanced. Trying out mods with Enhanced is hit and miss.

@shifuguru This only show up in the minimap and not in the pause menu map, but your first image is the pause menu. What's with that?

@shifuguru No problem. I think nowadays it's better if all mods keep compatibility with Legacy as well (at least for a good while).
I'm using this↓ "16k satellite map", now the game works with your minimap.rpf, the mix feels a bit odd, I don't know what to say about it.

Corrupt game data. Please reboot, verify the game data, or reinstall the game.

This error pops up as soon as story mode loaded in. If I close this error window = instant crash. If I ignore the error window and try to pause the game = instant crash. The problem went away as soon as I restored my empty minimap.rpf file. 😖 My downgraded game version is "1.0.3411.0".

@shifuguru How's this look like with "16k satellite map"?
