Following other's advice, I replaced 'update.rpf' in 'mods/update' with (copied) 'update.rpf' from 'Grand Theft Au.../update' . That got the game starting normally. Note: game version is 1.0.3095.0. I saw BTTFV loading at top left of screen for about 5 mins. I repeatedly tried ctrl + f8 to open BTTFV menu but nothing happened. Note: I used BTTFV installer for install.. Looking on youtube videos and whatnot, the ctrl + f8 not working issue is somewhat common.
Any other suggestions?

So anyway, I installed BTTFV, followed all instructions and checked requirements. I'm getting game launch fail after like 3 seconds (before rockstar logo). No messages from windows about it. BTTFV bug reports says "FILE NOT FOUND: ScriptHookVDotNet.log" and "FILE NOT FOUND: settings.ini". IDK if that has anything to do with problem.

Hi. Anyone know if I can install just vehicles (Delorean) only? Great mod and all, but I just want to play with the vehicles (just normal GTA driving), and these are the best BTTF deloreans.
I've opened the .oiv file and found a dlc.rpf which I suspect is vehicle models, but IDK
