This handling mod is meant to be used while driving in FPS mode !!!
What does this mod bring new to the game?
- reworked suspensions to simulate the car's feeling on the road
- reworked breaking system
- reworked traction on all axes, especially lateral / sideways.
- reworked acceleration / top speed and gear shifting to better simulation of driving in the city.
- reworked car velocity and aerodynamics.
Installation Instructions:
1. You need the car:

2. Install the car using the instructions you will find in the archive.
Then navigate to: update / x64 / dlcpacks / dycess / dlc.rpf / data
and replace handling.meta.
Hello guys, first of all, you should know that this is a realistic handling mod for those who drive this car in FPS mode. I created this handling to give you the sense of control and true feeling of the car, NOT SPEED. Driving this car through the crowded city , alongside with other cars is just a beauty. You can control your car very easy without going to 100 km/h too fast.
Now, there is a reason I've set the car's max speed to 100 km/h. In my experience of editing handling for gtav, I've came to the conclusion that if you want 1st person driving in this game you cant go beyond lets say 120-130 (and thats a bit of stretch already). If you drive too fast in this game, you will not be able to get the true feeling of the car.
If you have any suggestions, leave it in the comments below.
Remember that this is ment for people that want to drive this car in the city having somehow a true feeling. It's not for people who want to fly off the map.

This is probably the best Camaro model on the site and that's the main reason I've chosen it for my mod. The inconvenience is the fact that the FOV from inside the car (first person mode) is somehow limited because of the model itself. However, for me personally, is a compromise that I am willing to make since the car looks so well both interior & exterior.
I haven't tested this mod on any other Camaro model, but if you want to do it, feel free. Chances to work are very good since the model proportions of the Camaro's on this site are very similar.

You rate a mod that you dont understand. What you dont like my friend, is the mod's ideea and that is why you shouldnt use it. Ofc you didnt like it, you expected to press the acceleration and hit 300 km/h in 1 second like a "real" driver. Take my advise and next time read the description before trying out a mod.

I dont do this for rating. I created this series for a specific group of people who are looking for exactly this kind of mod. Yes, its frustrating to have a kid like this one rating half a star when he doesnt even begin to understand the concept, but hey ....

@ValkyriePC You know what i expected? a slow acceleration up to a realistic top speed... because in real life a decent car it can go up to a really good speed so i dont see realism in being slow..

That is not possible. It's not up to me, thats just how the gamer engine works. If I slow down the acceleration, I have to slow down the speed. They are connected, its not like in real life. That's what you didnt understand. If I make the car's top speed 300 km/h, the acceleration will just booom. Before drop half star rates, ask what you are interested in and maybe someone can give you a sense.

@ValkyriePC uhm dude i have an idea how to make a realistic top speed i think it would be hard but maybe its possible . look we should make a handling that goes up to a good speed but then maybe i dont know if it would work i was thinking about a script that would limit our acceleration and it would gain speed slower is that possible ?

I dont have knowledge about scripts, but I've tried everything that could be tried using just the handling.meta file and it didnt work the way you wish.
