Top Fuel Funny Car BETA

YOU WILL NEED:

NOTE: This is strictly a Drag Racing build.. she's good for straight line racing only. At default tune she will run 270+mph, adjust 'max speed' in menyoo to increase.
Version 2:
- Added bodyshell and roof lid rotations - now can be tilted like real life (pic 2&3)
- Changed 'original texture' as it was causing confusion
- Collisions should be fixed
Version 1:
- Drive-able
- Collisions
TO DO
- Fix rear wheels.. (If anyone knows what's up, please holla)
- Correct UV mapping on bodyshell (again, learning.. lol)
Installation
1: Open OpenIV and go to
'\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data'
2: Drag 'dlclist.xml' to desktop and open
3: Add this line, save, close and drag back in to OpenIV overwriting you're previous version.
'dlcpacks:\funnycar\'
4: Go to this location and make a folder called 'funnycar' (without ' ')
'\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks'
5: Open the 'funnycar' folder you just made and drag 'dlc.xml' from the downwload in to the folder.
6: Save and close.
7: Load up game, use 'funnycar' to spawn.

This is more alpha than beta....why release it at this stage with some many issues?
@S4NDM4N I'm a busy man and was eager? Only issues I can see are the rear wheels and texture problems.. This is a drag car - quite simply a chassis, bodyshell and an engine.
@Jonathan6506 Oh man, she's not textured yet haha! I need to correct the UV mapping - this was just something to give it some colour until i fix ;)
Is this converted from FlatOut 2?

@JDHauser http://imgur.com/a/CD5pw Seems to match up almost perfectly to that model. If you want the textures I could send it to you if you want.
@Zolika1351 I think I actually have those textures but send anyways if that's okay :)
Update: UV map'd the bodyshell, Trouble is the texture is mirroring one side so the writing is in reverse one side, also when I check the texture out in game it has ripples all over the bodyshell? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
@JDHauser you're kidding right? the texture problems alone are enough not to release but then the scale is way off and there are tremendous collision issues causing it to fall through the map etc etc etc...

@JDHauser I am very supportive of the efforts of those posting quality work or at least atempting to..but you posted an unfinished model that someone else made from another site and did so without any effort to bring it to the quality of other models here....expect to hear about it and take it like a man or don't post unfinshed work that isn't even yours to begin with....personally I think this "model" should be pulled on quality grounds lucky for you they don't appear to have a policy like that
@S4NDM4N My statement stands. Instead of choosing to peacefully address the issues you feel need to be improved/ corrected.. you simply moan like a high school girl.
Now I feel you need to be brought in to some insight here.. its my account. If i want to upload a 'leaf' texture, that no one would hardly see in game, then that is my choice. If I want to release a model I found online, as long as there is no restrictions to sharing, I will release.
I follow the rules and to be honest, the last thing the people on this site need is some keyboard warrior slating the work of others because they can't be half arsed to do it themselves.......

You could of posted saying 'major collision issues, literally driving through cars' 'do you know when the textures will be done?' 'Do you know when the next release is?' 'what are your plans for next release?'.................
I don't think your comments are as 'innocent' as you are making out.
In fact you came on to this mod with quite a forceful attitude asking why this mod was released? because basically, the impression you gave, it was dog sh**. - Ofcourse I am going to stand up for my work, you dont like it, don't download/delete it, you have questions? ask in a respective manner...
Though I agree you may have one or two points, I think you're replying to stand up for yourself rather than address that your comments could of be said x100 better.
I'm human mate, you slag off my work, something i've put time and effort in, of course I'm going to defend it.

game crashes everytime i try to load. it worked once but now it just crashes
mod would be great if collisions were fixed
