Description
Same as "nervous DEALERS v.0.3.2.1" but for Gang Members!
Introduce more lifelines to the streets of Los Santos with nervous GANG members! This mod adds a thrilling dynamic to the city by making GANG members flee from police vehicles if the Siren is activated. Watch as GANG members panic and attempt to escape the long arm of the law or the player and ultimately give up.
If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvements, feel free to provide feedback. This is the initial release, and your support is appreciated!
Features
- Realistic reactions as GANG members flee from approaching police vehicles.
- Enhances the police-chase experience in the game.
How to Install
- Ensure you have the latest version of Grand Theft Auto V.
- Install the Script Hook V and Script Hook V .NET.
- Copy the "nervousGANGmembers.dll", and the XML file into the "scripts" folder within your GTA V directory.
- If the "scripts" folder doesn't exist, create it.
- Launch GTA V and witness the nervous GANG members in action!
Usage
- The mod automatically identifies specific ped models and triggers a flee response when they encounter police vehicles with active sirens.
Known BUGS:
- Member will just stop and stand still after some time of running away.
- Member won't get triggered a second time (again)
- Member will Hands up forever (question: good/bad)
Future improvements to add:
- make it zone dependent
- add some randomness
- build a system that police has the chance to actively engage in persuit after (or before) the GANG member starts running
Important Notes
- If you notice any models that I forgot please tell me, also you can put in your own in the XML file
- Ensure you have backups of your game files before installing any mods.

I certainly like where this Mod is going!
Once enough bugs are ironed out, will definitely be one of them Classic Mods!
Add an option for the behaviour to be inversed (for each individual gang), instead of fleeing, they aggro and shoot the player/vehicle/police officer.
@Xire I did that here: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/true-gang-colors but not for police, I think about something but full aggro is too much I think, maybe if there are enough members. Like if there are more than 5 around the car they will attack?

@Xire It can be done in relationships.dat too by the by. Under each gang name (you wish), put COP to Hate row and they will shoot them on sight. If they don't have weapon, they utilize their punching skills, though chickening out once the cop pulls gun lol 😅😅

@MissySnowie but this won't work if the player is in a police car or would it? Also they would shoot on sight not when they activate the siren
@SeBoy Ah yup, it's only working against peds that have their personality set as COP. I guess if he would edit the peds.ymt though and set the personality to COP for protagonists it would still make gangs shoot him. But then they will be shooting all the time regardless of vehicle.
It's not as advanced and editable as scripts but he might still just like the gangs shooting cops so I wanted to share it 😊😊
