@adopcalipt Thanks for the detailed reply. I had considered using menyoo before, I'll take another look at that and see what I can do with that tool you released, it sounds like a good direction to go in. Thanks!
@adopcalipt if someone were to want to re-create some of the original GTAOnline Contact missions what would be the best way to go about that where integration into this mod might be possible? Is adding missions from other sources something you would be open to? I'm currently starting to work on a few using Build a Mission, but I know that what BAM outputs with all of its individual text files isn't exactly efficient. I love the way your mod is put together. It'd be really cool to be able to grab a payphone mission and get High Priority Case from Lester or a Last Play mission from Gerald. That sort of thing. If you could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
@Forest70599 I haven't figured out how to stop the mission from reloading your model upon completion, but for mission start you can open the Objectives.txt file for whatever mission and change the text "model = player_zero" near the top to "model= Current" - That will let you start as your current character without altering any settings. Like I said though, it'll still get borked when you complete the mission.
@aimless Is there a way for Mission Maker to behave closer to Build A Mission in regards to leaving the player model alone when the mission starts? I just want to play the mission as the character that I currently have loaded. Then I don't want to return to where I started the mission, I just want to continue in "freeroam" from wherever the mission ended.
@TwinkyMods I'm loving this mod but Fried Mind Corporation is pretty OP in my game. Their wiping out basically everyone. I'm probably going to reinstall stock files and then make some edits to remove Fried Mind before I start up again. TBH I like your idea of making a version with only the OG gangs. Nothing against your custom entries, it'd just be nice to have the choice to stick with vanilla gangs, or add in others.
I'm guessing I have some sort of conflict occurring with another mod? When I get into the game I can't bring up my cellphone and the pause menu no longer loads. I had to use Social Club to close my running instance of GTA 5. For some reason pressing "B" on my Xbox controller brings up the heist menu. I really didn't even try it, I just uninstalled it after all of that. It looks cool, but it doesn't seem to play well with what I'm already using.
Any chance this could also have settings for MP Male and Female? LOVE the idea of this thing though. I'm constantly having to juggle weapons I don't want to get to what I want to use.
This looks like a ton of fun. Have you ever thought about adapting this to gangs? It would be fun to be able to associate with the Ballas for example and have them show up like the police do to take out a target. It would be a good way to start gang shootouts too.
Eh... I think I'm calling it on this one. Everything loads (apart from that one interior I mentioned, but the executive computer that I need to use to buy warehouses and source crates is so buggy that I can't use it. Everything from not loading elements to loading most things and then not allowing me to click on them. Its pretty frustrating to interact with all the way around. I appreciate that so much is here in the first place... but yeah. I've not had success with it.
@HKH191 The interior for Celebrity Solutions Agency just doesn't seem to load. I'm using your Enable All Interiors mod to load all of the Online interiors. Whenever I attempt to toggle a CSA option it gives zero feedback. If I purchase that business and attempt to enter, I just fall through the building.
