@ikt I got rid of it by installing the "additional car controls" mod.
Everytime i shift down on my xbox controller (default X) GTA brings up the weapon selection hud.
Any idea how i could get rid of that?
I cant be the only one who finds this irritating.

Would be even better if it supported more than one input device. Im using a standalone h-shifter (Thrustmaster TH8RS) but cant get it to work together with my G27. Maybe the directinput method will fix that? Keep it up!
Great mod.
Only two issues.
1. Vehicles seem to lose engine for a while after flashback (tried with motorcycle)
2. I dont know how to change the controller key binding. I keep activating it by accident as it´s mapped to the brake buttons by default.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
