Here's hoping, you're taking persistent cars into consideration for this, their plate shouldn't change, or you might mess up persistent mods, at least mine, since it saves and loads cars by plate.

@doinkstheftauto Oh, yeah, nah, the problem wasn't the buttons, i tried it in testing and the script only manages to return the weapons when the peds are on foot, don't know why

Live this type of mods that make certain events of the game more deeper, haven't tried it, but just for a suggestion because is something everyone seems to miss it, make it not work on persistent peds, so it's compatible with other mods, and missions.

with group porders, you gotta set them to use only melee weapons BEFORE entering a vehicle, and they won't be able to shoot because they ain't got nothing to shoot with.
