I'm wondering, is it necessary to install the handling file? I'm using realistic top speed (the version with all the handlings in one file) and I don't want to lose it by replacing it with this handling file, can't you put it in the dlc.rpf? the handlings that have modifications?
I'm actually surprised about this mod, however there are some evident improvements to be made, here's my constructive criticism:
-Make the street racer icon only visible from close (the yellow one that spawns all the cars in the highway)
-In the other races, the cars dissappear at the end, why? just mark the drivers and the cars as not needed and the game will erase them.
-I think you should use the Normal game races checkpoints, that would make it more lore friendly
-Why are all the cars white? there should be some variety on that too!
@fet0r Somehow for some reason 3.2 is affecting persistent or mission cars, removing the persistence from them, This was not happening with any prior version of the mod

@crispycrisp Well, it's not fine with this mod, so don't use the mod, or get used to the error.
