Information:
This mod changes the colors of the radarminimap to be the same as the PS3X360 versions while still keeping the additional details (buildings, roads, etc.) from the current one
The minimaps for the Bolingbroke Penitentiary, Fort Zancudo, the Kortz Center (which can be enabled with the script) and of North Yankton from the old gen version are also included
Requirements:
- Legacy: OpenIV.asi
- Enhanced: OpenRPF
Installation (Legacy):
- Move the "spminimap" folder in "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks" and add "<Item>dlcpacks:/spminimap/</Item>" to the "dlclist.xml"
- Import "minimap_main_map.gfx" in "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\patch\data\cdimages\scaleform_minimap.rpf"
Installation (Enhanced):
- Move the "spMinimap_Gen9" folder in "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks" and add "<Item>dlcpacks:/spMinimap_Gen9/</Item>" to the "dlclist.xml"
- Import "minimap_main_map.gfx" in "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\patch\data\cdimages\scaleform_minimap.rpf"

What is the reason for asset incompatibility? I will be the only one publicly available online
Enhanced files dont really work, i think i installed it properly but it just doesnt show on minimap or map, i edited the dlclist file to and nothing
Replying to my comment above, it was user error since im using Natural vision enhanced i had to use another file location so, Mod works now and looks amazing 💪
I'm new to GTA 5 modding, and I have a question for you because I don’t know where else to look for answers. I made a vector map in Blender and I’m at the final step. I don’t know how to properly render a YDD so I can later replace the original files with it. I would really appreciate it if you could help me with this, because I’ve been trying to find a solution to this problem for several days.

@adxnis I can't help you much with this, but if by vector you mean it's in 2D, then you should turn it into 3D meshes, convert them into drawable with Sollumz, apply the "minimap.sps" shader and then export as YDD
Another factor is that the files should be split into multiple, but, that's a whole different story, which also depends on if it's a minimap for a custom map
@Alex106 I imported the whole ydd map into Blender and recolored it by vertices. Everything works for me, but I want to transfer my recolored ydd map into ydr, like you did. And I don't know how to do it.

@Alex106 The minimap in the pause menu looks terrible quality and only looks ok when zoomed in, and I wanted to ask how you can solve this problem
@ImPedor That's because the old gen textures are in lower resolution (512x512) compared to the original ones and the one from my mod, which are in 1024x1024.
I solved it by remaking it (by doing a render of all the tiles and then splitting it in individual textures for the game)
@Alex106 I ve took the textures i ve made them an upscale with AI to 2048 but still looks terrible is there any way to remake it to a better quality? 4k for example? would be awesome.

@Aperis The only way would be by making a new render in higher resolution, which I don't plan on doing
