Allows you to set the field of view in first person mode to whatever value you want, bypassing the standard limits of 85º horizontal and 55º vertical.

You cant use this mod anymore this mod is outdated so dsound.dll is crashing ur game dinput8.dll is the newer version if u want to use it u need the version this mod is working so a version from 2017

Broken as fuck with latest version of the game. You get an error message that won't let the game start until it's closed, and then the mod does nothing. It will still display messages when you hit hotkeys, but they don't do shit and changing the xml does nothing as well.

When I try to use it my game just crahes.
Found a way to make this work. However, it will only work for first person in vehicle & third person general.
In the .ini file you need to edit the settings and add a ";" in front of Walking, Aiming, Crouching & ADS. Your file should look like this.

Actually there's a way to change the fov on foot without a script if you don't need dynamic fov modification. First, export cameras.ymt at update.rpf\x64\data\metadata as a xml via CodeWalker (you can't export it with OpenIV). Second, search for "AimFov value="42"" (remove the double quotes at both ends when searching) and edit the float value above of AimFov whose hash is 0x1F1D79FF (you see like hash_1F1D79FF or the known name), which is set to 55 by default. Then import the xml into update.rpf\x64\data\metadata.
Note that camera fov values are clamped to 1.0 to 130 in the game code.
To change first person aiming fov values, change the FirstPersonScopeFov value for the weapons you want to change. I haven't figured out how to change vehicle fovs yet except camCinematicMountedCameraMetadata in cameras.ymt manages the config data...
